Why is the sauna not available for unsupervised use?At Thermapath, our approach is all about creating a deeper, more meaningful sauna experience. Instead of simply dropping off the sauna, we stay on-site to guide your session, ensuring you get the most out of it. From maintaining the perfect temperature to answering questions and offering insights into sauna rituals, our presence allows you to fully relax and immerse yourself in the benefits of thermic bathing. By staying with the sauna, we also handle all the logistics—so you can focus on unwinding, connecting, and enjoying every moment of your experience.

What happens if something gets damaged during the rental?The renter is responsible for any damage to the sauna or equipment.

Do you provide towels or other accessories?Yes, we provide towels for your convenience. If you have a favorite towel or robe, we encourage you to bring it along to personalize your experience. While we don’t provide sauna hats, we do have them available for purchase if you’d like to add one to your session.

Can I rent the sauna for multiple days or overnight?No, our mobile sauna rentals are not available for unsupervised multi-day or overnight use. For every booking, our team stays on-site to manage the sauna, ensuring a safe and seamless experience. Once your session concludes, we will remove the sauna from the location. If you have an event that spans multiple days or requires extended use, please email us at support@thermapath.com, and we’ll work with you to create a customized booking that meets your needs.

Can I reschedule my booking?Yes, you can reschedule for free if requested at least 7 days before the reservation date. A fee may apply for last-minute rescheduling.

Can I use the sauna during cold, rainy, or snowy weather?Absolutely! Some of our favorite sauna experiences happen in cold, rainy, or snowy conditions. The contrast between the warm sauna and the chilly elements makes the experience exhilarating and deeply enjoyable. That being said, your safety is our priority. In rare cases of extreme weather that create unsafe conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule under our force majeure policy. Rest assured, we’ll work with you to find an alternative solution if needed.

How do you ensure the sauna is clean and safe for use?After each rental, we thoroughly clean and disinfect the sauna, including wiping down benches, floors, and other touch surfaces, and removing any debris. We also allow adequate time for ventilation to ensure the space is safe and hygienic.

Can the sauna be set up on a sloped surface or driveway?For safety and proper operation, the sauna must be placed on a level, stable surface. If your location has a slight slope, let us know in advance, and we can assess whether it’s suitable or suggest alternatives.

How long does it take to heat up the sauna?Our wood-burning saunas take approximately 60-90 minutes to heat up to optimal temperatures. We handle the initial setup and stoking to ensure it's ready for you at the agreed-upon start time.

What is the recommended protocol for using the sauna during a rental?We recommend alternating between 10-15 minutes in the sauna followed by a cold plunge or a cool-down period to maximize the benefits of heat and cold therapy. At the end of your session, take time to relax, rehydrate, and enjoy the post-sauna glow in a calm, comfortable environment. Always listen to your body and adjust the duration and intensity to suit your needs.
